Instructions for the Kent bugle ca. 1813.

Handwritten copy (after 1812) of instructions "extracted from Logier's Art of playing the Kent Bugle, printed in Dublin ... November 25th 1813, containing about 35 pages" and other music copied by an unknown individual. Handwritten instructions for playing the Kent bugle include duets for the flute, violin, piano, and other instruments. The first several pages includes scales and instructions. The remaining pages contain music, often including words. A loose piece of paper contains verses to a song. Pages inserted in the back of the volume include "South Carolina Hymn" and "Hail Columbia."
